Healthy (???) Thoughts!!!

We hear so many theories on having healthy food. Control calorie!!! Have less of non-veg food; go for leafy vegetables more, that’s healthy. I got a mail few days back and that made me think seriously on the issue. Is what is being preached really correct?? 😉

Let’s first come to this eating leafy vegetable. You have beef or say chicken. Why not grasp the logistic efficiency. What do cow, chicken or goats eat??? Hay, grains, corn, grass!!! So when you eat those, it’s nothing short of an effective mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. When you have ice-creams, it’s whatever cow eats delivered to your system in a single package. 😀

Take wine or beer now. Again its fruits being delivered to your system friends. 😛 Fried food!!! Come now. What oil do we use?? Vegetable oil right!! So food friend in vegetable oil will be nothing but delivering more vegetables into your system. 😀

Chocolate, coffee, tea all are again what??? Plant products yaar!! Have plenty of them all. They are feel good foods also. Feel good factor is the most needed one for long life. 😉

Now to come to the issue of regular exercise. Exercise increase heart beats. Remember our heart when created was given a fixed number of total beats. Why do you want to get over with that number so soon??? Have you ever heard that drive your vehicle more and it will stay in shape??

More exercise means better muscles. So more sit ups and stuff may result in your getting a bigger tummy, keep this factor in mind. Swimming is good they say for keeping good shape. How about then explaining me something about the figure of “Whales”!!! Hey come now, you talk of keeping “In Shape” but round are a “Shape” too!!! 😛

So Conclusion – Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways – Chicken Fry in one hand – Chocolate in the other – body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!”

    Hummm! Pretty funny reasoning! On the serious note though, you have two choices. Eat all what you wanna eat and perish your body to suffer all you wanna too OR you can eat healthy and enjoy being disease free. You are right! Whatever you do, eat healthy or not one is going to die. However, the wiser choice will give you a far better life before death then the much intense suffering one. What say?
