WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY DIWALI

Happy Diwali

Happy Diwali

Today when I have reached my house in Shimla, I am getting memories; Memories of moments celebrated together once. Moments that have been attached in my heart, and will remain so forever.Keeping them in my heart just to cherish, this year I am really looking forward to this festival of light.

This Diwali would be bit unusual for me as no one seem to be at home. But whatever be it, as they say, the show must go on. I am here like every year to light up the house and remove the darkness. Lot has changed from what we used to celebrate when kids. As kids we used to buy traditional clothes on Diwali. Not anymore. And I am finding that bit out of place suddenly and realising just how important traditions are during such festivals.

The thrills and excitements of my younger days are all coming back to me today. How we used to wait for it and make plans. Every details of our different preparations went along carefully. We used to forget all our worries and just think of what to do on the festival day.

But the most wonderful aspect of Diwali is the togetherness of the Family. And pray this continue always. But just now let me wish you all,  close my eyes and let nostalgia take over!!!!

May This Diwali be as bright as ever.
May this Diwali bring joy, health and wealth to you all.
May the festival of lights brighten up you and your near and dear ones lives.
May this Diwali bring in you the most brightest and choicest happiness and love you have ever Wished for.
May this Diwali bring you the utmost in peace and prosperity.
May lights triumph over darkness.
May peace transcend the earth.
May the spirit of light illuminate the world.
May the light that we celebrate at Diwali show us the way and lead us together on the path of peace and social harmony

  7. Happy Diwali Sabzi!!!!

I hope you light some pataakes as well! I know it’s not the same to celebrate with family around (I’m sitting thousands of miles away from mine), but as long as you pray to God and have a clean heart and mind at the end of the day, I am sure you will find satisfaction.

Best wishes to you now and always! May the next Diwali see you celebrating with your family.

Very well written ..U r right.Traditions form such an integral part of these festivals and it is these traditions which keep us connected with our roots. This Diwali,I was also getting rather nostalgic and recalling the way I used to celebrate Diwali as a kid with my brother(who is now in US) and everyone else.
